Danish teachers are on their way to Palermo. Here they will show what they have worked on since their last workshop in Gijon in Spain. The teachers are from the municipalities of Vejle and Silkeborg.
The teachers have worked with a method that will make more students become digitally competent, entrepreneurial and innovative. It is absolutely necessary that schools teach our children and young people to take part in the development of new ways and goals of learning. Pupils must prepare themselves for a society that is becoming more and more digital.
The participating teachers gave each other a concrete task when they met in October in Spain. Upon returning to their own schools, they had to test and document courses using elements of the method they are developing. They had to include next generation technologies, such as 3D printers, microcomputers and programming tools. Along the way, they had to provide feedback online to colleagues in other project countries and – as something very important – receive feedback from each other’s students.
It will be exciting to see what the other countries will bring with them to Palermo as their contribution to the shared method.
